We’re excited to announce that going forward Blyth-Telpleton Academy will be known as Templeton Academy.

Other than our new URL (www.templetonacademy.org) and emails, the only other change that you’ll likely note is our new logo. We’re excited about the development of a symbol, which captures the essence of our school community — and aspirations. It is about wrestling with big questions leading to equally big “aha” moments — and in turn more questions and discoveries. We hope that the four “questlamation” marks (or interrobangs) come to symbolize, for our growing community, the four big questions that power our model's focus on learning to be, learning to do and learning to know:

  • What are my gifts and how can I use them in a way that brings me joy and serve others?
  • What skills do I need and how will I attain them?
  • What knowledge do I need and how will I attain it?
  • How will I prove what I can do and who will affirm me or hold me accountable?

Our new name and brand do not, of course, diminish our continued, rich collaboration with Blyth Academy. Blyth Academy President, Pat Shaw continues to play an active and important role on our board of directors, and Blyth Academy schools will continue to provide expansive global opportunities for our learners across a network of schools that now extends across UK, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Andorra, and India.

We could not be more excited about the road ahead — for each of our students and the entire Templeton Academy community — nor more grateful to have you as part of this community.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any and all comments, questions — or “aha” moments!
