Application Deadlines Are Approaching—Apply Today

Here's a closer look at your registration options. Don't forget that we're offering a 5% tuition discount to families who enroll by March 31st!

Regular Admissions: Deadline extended to March 8th! Regular admissions is for families who are excited about BTA and hope to have their schooling plans finalized in the coming weeks. With regular admissions, families complete their application, receive a decision shortly thereafter, and then get a 5% tuition discount ($14,775) for enrolling by March 31st.

Rolling Admissions: Templeton Academy recognizes that the vibrant cities we use as our campuses are growing. Because of that – and any other family needs that may arise –Templeton Academy reserves limited seats for rolling admissions. Templeton Academy is committed to being a micro-school and as such has a maximum capacity of 150 students.

2019-2020 Domestic Tuition and Registration Fees

4 Terms $15,550 
3 Terms $12,850
2 Terms $8,750
1 Term $5,125

Payments can be made in full, or in installments over the course of the school year.

There are five basic steps involved in the application process.

  1. Learn if Templeton Academy could be a good fit for your child via the blog, website, or informational events.
  2. Set up a one-on-one meeting with Head of School, Kalee Barbis, by reaching out via email (Kalee.Barbis@blythtempleton.org) or telephone (615-601-0893).
  3. Submit supplemental materials.
  4. Schedule and attend an interview.
  5. Complete registration and payment.

About Kalee Barbis

Kalee is the founding Head of School for Templeton Academy in Nashville. Kalee is a Nashville native with a decade of educational experience. Educated at the University of Tennessee, Lipscomb, and Vanderbilt Universities. Kalee is deeply committed to personalized, experiential education. She has a strong track record in developing relationships with students and teachers, and cultivating a student-centered classroom. Kalee spent the past three years in Washington DC, founding Washington Leadership Academy, an XQ Super School focused on reimagining high school, as the assistant principal. Prior to that, Kalee taught in Nashville for six years. She is excited to return home to bring BTA to the city.
